Business Continuity

Business continuity is predominantly a safety net that we offer which will allow a business to maintain essential functions during and after a disaster has occurred. This can take the form of flooding, fires, server crashes or virus infections. What we do is establish risk management processes that aim to prevent interruptions to essential services, and re-establish full function to the organization as quickly and smoothly as possible.

The three elements of Business continuity are Resilience, Recovery and Contingency.

Resilience: Ensures that the most important business functions are not affected by critical issues.

Recovery: Is a plan that is in place before any such issue arises which will allow for the recovery of the most critical business functions.

Contingency: Is a backup plan that is put in motion in the event of a major incident that could not have been predicted. Contingency preparations are a last-resort option if resilience and recovery are not effective in practice.

Business continuity can be a vital tool to have and gives you peace of mind that your business will continue to operate and flourish even in the worst of situations.
